Integrated Facebook shows more info on WinPho than Windows 8 RP unless MS changed it in Windows 8 final version The mail app on WinPho is top notch I was referring to the desktop version .... No upgrade from RP. MS has said this several times. For those loving tiles, NeoGAF has an awesome thread for customizing them. Nice find doc. Didn't even know tile customisation was possible. You'll get a bird's eye of all the tiles on screen. Just right click the group you want to name and you'll the contextual actions on the bottom pane. From there, you can name it. What more was there in WP7? Microsoft rep in Windows blog said U can upgrade from RP to 8 but U should just have a Windows 7 license although the upgrade assistant doesn't ask for it Plus if U upgrade from Windows 8 RP U lose the apps but U could keep your personal files And all those tricks in which we have to change ini version blah blah upgrades RP to Windows 8 but the Metro apps stop working Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

spindoctor Posted November 2, 2012 Report Share Posted November 2, 2012 got an sms from my bank telling me that the payment i had made for windows 8 has been reversed. the paypal transaction is still listed as pending. i got my product key and yesterday i got an email that my dvd had shipped out (from germany i assume). anyone know what could be going on here?
