Kazekage Gaara
Hi guys, I have to face a 5-hour scheduled powercut in my area everyday. As of now, I have a local chalu battery (huge truck battery) with Luminous 800 VA Inverter installed for my gaming setup. I am talking about those HUGE truck batteries/inverter batteries It powers my PC, Xbox 360, amplifier with 2 huge sony speakers, etc. Now, previously I had bought a local battery a year ago, which is on the verge of it's death, and I've sworn to never buy a local battery again. So, which battery brand would you recommend ? Exide ? Amaron ? Sonic ? etc. If so, why ? Any idea how much it costs ? A humble request...guys please don't blow me off. This is the only really good Indian forum that I know of from which I can acquire knowledge from my fellow Indians from their own personal experiences I just don't wanna end up spending 10 grand on some shitty brand, which I'll end up regretting I just can't afford making a mistake like that Thanx a lot in advance for all the help guys. Desperately waiting for a reply
Jigsaw
i've been using Exide Invaqueen 500+ for a year and 4 months now. Its played quite nice.... although load-shedding has stopped here in thane. Forgot the specifications for the battery i mentioned. Got it for 10k back then. Just a bit of advice, i wouldn't trust an invertor to run my consoles. I know it is possible but i just don't feel comfortable..

Well, I've been running my Wii on that inverter for more than 1 year now and the Xbox 360 for almost 6 months Both the consoles that I have are US versions, so their power is routed through a 220v to 110v stepdown transformer. So far, things have been really good Edit: Even I am considering Exide. Will look into all the other brands that are available. Mostly, I am going for durability and better after sales services. Basically, am looking forward to advice from IVGians who've been there and done that
