An error in coding the dates has got to be the most embarrassing thing Sony has to face, like EVERR. Self-f**ked!!

so i have been away from the consoles for last 3 days. can someone fill me up?

non slim PS3's are getting Y2K-ed whenever switched on or is it only when PSN linked?

and Sony is running out of excuses and has thus asked for 24 hours of time till it waits for Moses?

nopsie daisy! They figured it out alright. IT IS Y2Ked. Forum-folk saying Sony Engg might have missed the leap year calculation. Word is that they will come up with a fix like - dont switch on for 24hr to avoid data corruption, and then restart the PS3 after some sort of complete shut down to reset the internal clock.
