Parvinder Singh
Please help guys. i had DLed psn games and used to play them perfectly fine. Then i had a hdd upgrade from 40gb to 320gb. all the games in 40gb hdd were restored on new hdd and accounts as well. I was even able to play games like bfbc2 demo which was there in 40gb hdd also. But last night i tried to play battle cars and suddenly faced this error "The copyright protection information is invalid (80029513)". And when i tried to play other psn games as well present on my hdd, few had same issue and others were just fine. Then i deleted those psn games which had (80029513) problem and DLed them again frm the same account which i had used to DL on old hdd. I installed the games and when i tried to play, damn, the same fooking error(80029513) again. Please help guys. What is the solution to this problem? Has anyone faced this before? Im not sure if this is bcoz of hdd upgrade since some games frm old hdd r working fine on new hdd and some are not. Need expert advice on this. Thanks in advance. Noctis
If the game was downloaded on 5 ps3s, then I believe it is required to deactivate old accounts before changing the HDD. Otherwise the games are lost forever.

Do noct, does that mean i was supposed to deactivate the PSNBK account on old hdd and then after restore, activate the same account on new hdd. But now that the hdd upgrade is done, how do it solve the issue ?

They worked just fine even without me having to de-activate or anything
The Wolfy among us
you can't solve it. the number of times the game is downloaded is 5, and it is 5 PS3s. whether you use the same id downloading 5 times, or use 5 diff ids is immaterial. I don't think there is a way to get the games back.

Somebody
^^ Maybe delete those games (the ones that are not working ) and also delete their 'Game data' and try re-downloading the games from PSN. worth a try

Parvinder Singh
^^ Maybe delete those games (the ones that are not working ) and also delete their 'Game data' and try re-downloading the games from PSN. worth a try Read my 1st post. i deleted the games n ReDLed them. Just that i didnt' delete the saved data, but what difference will they make. Atleast the game must start, doesnt' matter even if saved data is not accessible. Somebody
^^ I thot there was something else called Game Data too, other than the Saved Data. Don't delete the save data. There's no point. and you already know that and bikram, what u said is not true. It's not 5 downloads. It's 5 activated PS3s.
