well atleast you dont have to deal with stupid can't "connect to game" every once in a while (it occurs very frequently on PSN) & you don't need to wait 9-10 seconds to know whether or not you will be able to join the game or not.

Isn't that a NAT problem?

And finally my order is in stock.:P

Personal experience says that it happens at a much reduced rate on XBL.

Also it takes 7-8 seconds to join a game/lobby on PSN while on XBL or PC (in case of SF4) it takes only 3 seconds to get into the lobby...if it goes past 3 seconds then you know that you wont be able to join the game.

it has nothing do do with sf4 running on the ps3.its just that the ps3's internet connectivity in general is very sensitive to your modem's nat variations.get it to nat1 and its all the same.

How would you explain the fact that I was running the game on same connection & same modem with same settings and the same day ?

There is no blocking of ports since I have already selected DMZ host & disabled any kind of firewall.

Okay ignore this...what about the 7-8 seconds to join a game compared to 3 seconds on PC/360 ?

thats what im trying to say,

the ps3 in general doesnt do well if your modem's nat type aint 1.so it will list out matches that could only be joined if you have a nat1 connection,so if you try to join those games, either it takes a very long time or it doesnt connect at all.whereas a 360 lists out matches that can only be joined on that particular nat type,so the matches you see can be connected to for the most part.

i can tell you for a fact that its only supposed to take 3 seconds irrespective of the console you're playing on.

btw its not an opinion,im telling you what the youtube players sf4 post and explain in their comparison videos.

What can I say, you need to play with better people in order to get better (meaning all of you). That said, I will say this, I have been playing the game a lot differently ever since I did some button remapping to adapt my game-play style to my needs. We should setup another brawl round, the last time was nice and this time i'll get the BT Headset setup so that we can chit-chat while we watch. Work is getting lighter so I am getting more free to play a bit more and my finger cast comes off this Thurs (a little more freedom).
