So if there is a problem it's not that. When people create rooms they can make it AE only (gold logo), Super only (silver logo) or both(super rules apply if one of the players in the match doesn't have AE). So you can only join the silver logo ones. Although, right before I got the DLC, when I tried to join the room of a friend who also hadn't bought the DLC yet, I got the same error message you did. Shadoken Posted June 12, 2011 Report Share Posted June 12, 2011 ^^ WRONG...the Free Update kit on PSN contains the AE data like Yun, yang character models etc... and This is needed to play against people who have AE (Not play , but you can watch the matches , replays ..etc) ... and this is DLC and hence it is region locked just like every other DLC... the reason the other DLC is 1.5 GB is because on the stupid PS3 you need to replace the entire Data which needs to be edited... which means any small change made to a special move , you need to replace the entire data file about that move Edit : And like he said .. he is not getting the Silver SSF4 logo in the menu screen ... which means the update is not working...Btw gaurav are you able to access the new elite replay channel??.. if not then its definitely problem with the Region of the update kit... ImpatientSoul Posted June 12, 2011 Report Share Posted June 12, 2011 yeah, Shado's right.. the AE free kit i downloaded and installed isn't being recognized in the game as whenever I boot it up, it still tells me that AE dlc and free kit is now available on the psn store. But still i was able to play ranked matches, weird. But i'll download the ae dlc most probably from the indian store. Edit: thanks for the help man!!
