Octo should be a little smoother....If you want , you can add some oil/grease and loosen the stick a little ... But IMO(this actually changes varies depending on the person) , I think it Should be stiff ... when i played on a loose stick .. I look at my inputs ..suppose I want to do a Hadoken super.. would get something along the lines of D,DF,F,DB,D,F...the stick will go to DB or even UF at times...but if the stick is stiff... my inputs are slower but more accurate.... its all a matter of preference.. Another thing about rly smooth sticks is the ricochet effect.... you wont belive the number of times i used to get a backdash instead of a forward dash....If i press F,F..i would simultaneously be getting B,B ... my inputs would be F,B,F,B and id get a backdash (This is mostly thanks to SF4 input shortcuts though... otherwise i should just walk front and back) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
