U can view it in first person or third person in the perspective of any player in the game. U have free roam/ghost cam and u can move the camera around everywhere even when the replay is paused. Dunno about SOCOM but MAG has pretty cool clan system where you can challenge other clans and schedule matches. Warhawk also has similar system, its not just a prefix next to your gamertag. In fact, the best MP experience as far as getting started is concerned. and +1 to the statement about MW2. Just joining a MP game on MW2 is a trial of patience.
