Would be nice to play with all IVG guys instead of one or two randoms. ScrewyAurum Posted September 25, 2011 Report Share Posted September 25, 2011 Goddamnit! Wave 30+ is f**king brutal. We tried for like an hour and only got through 30-35. Picking that town map from the Beta was a bad idea. The open areas are too open. The small ones mean you get swarmed in seconds. Esp when the game starts spawning a wave of f**king boomers. do it on dry dock thats where i completed the 50 waves..its all easy as long as u fortify along the right hand side of the walkway..it will be pretty easy cept the last wave and some boss waves depending on what u get...on the 50th wave we got 4 gunkers and "hordes" of grinders, boomers and those with the shields... spindoctor Posted September 25, 2011 Report Share Posted September 25, 2011 And spin you seem to like this game, I read you bitching gears 1 and I think 2 as well before. co-op makes all the difference. i even liked gears 1 better than 2 because i played it in co-op with snake as opposed to solo for the second one. also, that was the time i still tried to make sense of the story, but for this one i just let go. the plot of gears 3 is completely full of stupid sh*t as well, but i don't really give a damn now. i still maintain that the gameplay of all 3 are interchangeable. i will concede that if you had told me 2 weeks ago that i would enjoy gears 3 as much as i have, i would laughed it off. kitson007 Posted September 26, 2011 Report Share Posted September 26, 2011 Have added a few hong kong mates who find ranked matches easily....had awesome fun ...very competitive .....and zero effing lag...if only I could find matches alone... Played till act 3 yesterday and I'm really enjoying the campaign,really like it because now its more open so there is more freedom to move around....
