gameman Posted March 26, 2010 Report Share Posted March 26, 2010 ^^ dude I already have QFB and so do Rush and Kanbad and I think they already have Battlefield 1943 as they've listed in their previous bought list and yeah I know linger in shadows is not a "Game" in the traditional sense but i've heard great things about it and it's only 3$ so how much harm can that do.As for deciding upon future releases any recommendations???? Ok since a majority have QFB there is no point in getting that. They most certainly haven't got battlefield 1943 according to the list posted by them in the OP.Linger in the shadows is not a game in any sense,its like a slideshow of artwork.Not that I don't appreciate it but I feel it is better to save up funds for some good titles coming up(as listed b4) such as: Joe Danger Tomb Raider:Guardian of light Sonic Eps 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

theneurotoxin Posted March 26, 2010 Report Share Posted March 26, 2010 Firstly,Mod Nation Racers is a disc based game and Wakeboard HD has not released yet as I've mentioned before.Secondly no one seems to be reading what I post-I've already mentioned that Wakeboard HD hasn't released,given my impressions about Greed Corp,suggested a few games but no one seems to be discussing anything about these points that I've made.How are we going to arrive at a consensus regarding the games then?The only thing that seems to be have been decided for now from what I gather is that we are not going to be purchasing Ratchet & Clank:Quest for Booty. @Rush-Please do post a final comprehensive list of games(and the cost for the same)that the team has decided to buy and after it has been acknowledged by every team member you can go ahead and purchase the titles.This way confusion and unnecessary misunderstandings will be avoided. I would rather not get Section 8 irrespective of how good or bad it is,it is almost as expensive as a full blown PS3 title and more importantly I would prefer the tried and tested(& more VFM)BF1943 to this. Games like Noby Noby Boy,Blue Toad Murder Files & Linger in Shadows are a waste of cash cause they are either shitty games or too kiddish.Wouldn't it be better to spend on what are really good titles and wait for the new releases everyone has mentioned. I will attempt drawing up a consolidated list of titles we are interested in,including the wishlists,below(correct me if I am wrong): Braid Fat Princess PJ Shooter PJ Eden Flower Superstardust HD Echochrome(My vote is against this) Final Fantasy 7 Greed Corp(My vote is against this) Gravity Crash(My vote is against this) BF1943(subject to Rush & Kanbad stating their views on this game) As for future releases,the ones everyone seem to be interested in are: Joe Danger Tomb Raider:Guardian of Light Sonic Episode 4 Wakeboard HD Sam & Max hasn't released yet,though it is up for pre-order for the entire set.I don't think pre-ordering this is advisable,I would rather wait for the reviews to come out. Greed Corp is supposed to have quite a steep learning curve,lets just say its not for everyone.I'm no fan of RTS so I wouldn't want it but lets decide by voting. Do you mean to say everyone has Flower or that everyone has PJ Shooter?Either way we can get one of those two games based on voting as a part of my wishlist. I played quite a bit of the demo of BF1943 and had absolutely no problems whatsoever.Morever,the impressions over in IVG's offficial thread also seem to suggest no lag.Maybe its a problem specific to the demo or to your ISP.It is a MP only game but a very good one at that and a no brainer at that price point,beats Section 8 hands down in any case.
