Why the hell does the TP have to go? I never liked the Babe thread. (Pay attention - never liked the thread, the babes - I'd hit anyday) This is not that kind of place and not in the best interests of the young members. Let it go. Anyone that speaks the legalese in the TOS knows that PSN sharing isn't illegal. But.. your call. IDGRA what the homepage looks like. You're free to plug the next Shahrukh Khan film or Black Eyed Peas concert. They will be members certainly. 4. Screw market research. We're an established name, we don't need to change the name to anything else. And why should we have something to represent a more "Asian" influence when they've got their own sites? ahem ahem - if we are such an established name how come other publications get review copies from Indian distributors and not us? ask any staff author about the pain of getting review copies - or Tyler when he buys every game that comes out. i certainly remember how MS acknowledges our "established" name. this is the same MS who rushed to replace debug consoles in the buyers editorial team. we are not established - we are a forum with active TP and genchat. I didnt want to reveal this but this has to be said. Athek's a turncoat. At first he tried to get us to include Overclocked.in in the deal. The buyer wasn't too keen on that but he kept pushing for it asking for more money for himself, because of its "added value". The buyer said that he would not give a commitment on OC.in right away but would consider it if IVG meets its targets in the first 12 months. He was pissed about that. Is the IVG UI going to be burdened with humongous number of Ads or do u have a different take to this? - The "IVG" name will remain for at least 6 months. Based on market research that the buyers will be conducting, the name could remain or may be changed. But there will definitely be a reference to "India" in the name. Over the course of 2-3 years, the name may change again to reflect a more Asian influence. That has got quite a subtle undertone to it. A forum which has been brought to its current level by its indian members will have a name change to reflect a more Asian influence. Does that sound fair to you? - IVG will have direct access to publishers internationally. We will not have to deal exclusively with the local distributors. This means quick access to new games, access to betas, previews, etc. Wudnt the local dealers make a fuss of this ? wudnt this fall into the category of parallel imports which is illegal ?
