kitson007 Posted March 23, 2010 Report Share Posted March 23, 2010 IMO this is what happened-- people are against it because of all the drama that happened yesterday...what if the threads name had been ivg's bright future from the start ,more than half of you would've encouraged it.....that thread shouldnt have gone out in the open ...the admins should have sorted it all out but from what ive heard it was started because one admin couldnt get his way during the admin discussion....after that athek quit....IMO acting like some fallen hero to which you guys acted like you would give him a nobel prize for that......so if he hadnt quit and the threads OP had been optimistic from the start it would be a different picture Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That is exactly my point - the vast majority are being so close-minded about the whole thing that nothing anyone said yesterday got through to them. MT got through to you regarding the site not being closed down - but what do we say to people who don't want to listen, and are more interested in being emo hurling accusations and insults? Then maybe you should close this thread, calling community members who oppose the idea emo whining turdburglars isn't going to convince anyone anyways, it's best left to you guys to sort out internally - it's quite clear the majority is against the idea. My suggestion is that the current owners should have some say in future working of IVG or whatever it will be called. The site shouldn't be completely sold off to the new buyers otherwise Indian gaming wont go anywhere. If the site is gonna get commercial big time there should be some part time/ full time jobs for indian gaming enthusiasts. For TP if you guys can do something like intencity where used games are sold then it will be great. Because as of now TP is the big draw for IVGians In general the forums should remain unchanged. I may also add few things later. I know after getting involved in this thing for such a long time you want this to grow. But please take care of the community. And now you are being as close minded as the other part. The whole reason people are against this is not because they hate the deal all together. They see some of the most influential staff members of the forum against this, one of them quits his post and there is chaos whenever this is discussed. IMO this whole mess is a cause of how this was presented rather than the actual issue. And every insult thrown from either sides makes it worse.
