Karooo Posted March 29, 2010 Report Share Posted March 29, 2010 Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII are by far the two most popular PSOne Classic fames on the Playstation Network for the Playstation 3 and PSP. Thus, the topic of converting Final Fantasy IX as a digital download naturally came up. Last week, Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto told fans that he will bring up the subject of Final Fantasy IX appearing the on Playstation Network during the next company board meeting. In his recent tweets to Square Enix Members, he revealed that the gathering went well. Hashimoto stated that, because it is the 10th anniversary of the game, many board members approved of his idea. He later mentioned that the official word should come by next Friday at the latest. Final Fantasy IX was originally released on the Playstation in 2000. Yeah true. 9 has better graphics though, so should look decent Even FF12 will look bad unless use connect the PS3 to a SDTV or it is a remastered version. playstation Posted April 2, 2010 Report Share Posted April 2, 2010 Final Fantasy IX Approved for PS3/PSP Release After days of deliberation and informing us through Twitter, the decision to port Final Fantasy IX to the PlayStation Network has finally been approved. In a recent tweet of a Square-Enix just a few minutes ago, a video was released announcing that Final Fantasy IX is indeed coming on the PlayStation 3 and PSP. Now we should expect it soon in Japan and North America. It seems that the new PlayStation Firmware Update is for the release of Final Fantasy IX. At least that should make some people happy after removing the Install OS function on their PS3. source yeh game tha yaar...khelna wala ek baar khelega toh zindagi bhar yaad rakhega.
