The PS3 occasionally chugs when there's heavy smoke being rendered, and some maps like Wetwork suffer from inefficient net code when they are full. But on the whole, the online play is better than on XBL. Even with a 2 bar yellow ping, I'm able to play competitively and even come out on top in some matches. This is virtually impossible on XBL.
