Ambitious project team owned by Silver Wish Games Illusion Softworks, the company that became famous in the world, producing such hits as the Mafia and Hidden & Dangerous. Chameleon species represents action games, and his story takes place in the 80s of the XX century. The player takes on the character of the former CIA agent. The drama of his life began when he was only nine years. Then his father was murdered during a diplomatic mission in Nicaragua. Since that time he constantly tries to unravel the mystery of death, which also has a substantial impact on his life and which de facto has become the direct cause of his dismissal from the CIA. However, the skills and contacts they have acquired while working in the government agencies have become invaluable in the further search. And they carry it the farthest corners of the world, from the streets of Belfast, the full Beirut terrorists and jail in Venezuela until after the lost war in Afghanistan. It is unquestionable that the hero managed to achieve this goal depends only on the player.

 

The authors equip the title in a very nice three-dimensional graphics (enhanced engine known for Mafia), with events taking place can be observed from the perspective of the third and first persons. In total, 17 were prepared to perform a variety of missions located in four continents. Most of them can go two ways, either by killing all the way, or discreetly przekradajÄ…c and attacking opponents of hiding the selected (the system of light and shadow allows hiding). Silver Wish Games is a small independent developer located in the Czech Republic. Due to their size, rumors of closure, inconsistent release schedules, and change in country of operation, it would appear the company has drastically reorganized multiple times since initially opening in 2000.

Silver Wish Games was originally a division of Illusion Softworks. Located in Bratislava, Slovakia, it was established by Petr Vochozka, who brought in Lubo Dekan as lead programmer and Rado Javor as lead artist, all three having worked previously on a game called Tlon.

 

Silver Wish Games closed in early 2005 after releasing Wings of War. However, Chameleon, a third-person action-stealth game was released in some European countries shortly after the studio closed.

While this original studio closed in 2005, in 2006 Circus Empire was released, apparently being developed by Silver Wish Games.

 

 

This is a awesome game , its based on tweaked Mafia's graphics engine L3D , it looks very good with max settings and AA , it supports HD resolutions. It is a blend of Splinter Cell and Mafia type gameplay.Also it is probably the first game which had a full level based on a moving train , which we have seen in game like Splinter Cell : Pandora Tomorrow , Commandos 3 , Crysis Warhead and recently Uncharted 2.

FFS! Was that necessary? Now it will be stuck in my head all day long.

 

So whats the deal with this game? Steam or retail? Cause we will never get to see it if its retail.

Its not available on Steam , only in Retail that too in in a few countries only.

 

I tried to find a copy of this game everywhere on the internet but couldn't , even tried contacting a Polish guy on some forum last week who was selling it a year ago. http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=130527, it was only released in four countries Poland , Czech Republic , Slovakia and Russia.

 

The Russian version is completely in Russian , both audio and text , while Polish version has atleast the audio is in English as seen in the videos but text is still in Polish but its very much playable.Only way to play I guess is to get the ahem copy , even that is very very difficult to find.

 

I also didn't knew about this game as well, last week I was searching for stealth PC games on youtube and came across this name , since it was made by devs who made Mafia and is based on same graphics engine, I instantly knew it was gonna be awesome.
