The 3rd gen iPod touches include only the 32Gb and 64Gb models. The 8-16gb ones are 2nd gen which wont get multitasking. This is because the iPhone 3GS and ipod touch 32-64 Gb have a faster proccy and more RAM. The 2nd gen of both iphone and ipod touch will get everything except multitasking.
