Yup, but only the iPod Touch 32Gb and 64Gb (which are 3rd gen) will get multitasking. the 2nd gen ipod touch and iphone 3G wont get multitasking.

u sure it will b coming to iPod touch 3g as well or only iPod touch 3gs

There is nothing called ipod touch 3gs. The 3rd gen iPod touches include only the 32Gb and 64Gb models. The 8-16gb ones are 2nd gen which wont get multitasking.

This is because the iPhone 3GS and ipod touch 32-64 Gb have a faster proccy and more RAM. The 2nd gen of both iphone and ipod touch will get everything except multitasking.

Hehe, the comments on engadget were feckin amazing :). Apple is just playing catch up. Though now since all the OS'es are more or less level with each other give or take a few features here n there, we consumers have choice between this, android, windows phone 7 etc.

Oh well atleast it's an upgrade and not a 3.21 Downgrade like a certain system recently got. :ranting:

Apple logo = priceless! How can you even compare features to an apple logo?
