wierd problem with controller Playstation 3

hi to all,

 

this is first time i am getting this problem in my wireless controller.Dualshock 3............on playstation 3

 

scenario was........

 

one of our customer was playing god of war 3 last night.Today he came and started playing God of war 3 and remote (dual shock 3) started acting weied.

 

remote was connected wirelessly.and suddenly bow came out of the Kratos hand......and now only option kratos is having Bow in his hand.i tried a lot but bow is not swithcing to another weapon.

 

remote is working fine such as moving with analog stick.........and selecting options.but dont know why this problem came.Tried on different level also but same problem..

 

 

 

version ....3.15 of playstation 3....

 

one more problem--------brought a new bluetooth ps3 remote (brand Tool).Its a bluetooth device so tried to connect with going inside Accessory option in system setting but i am not able to connect it .

it not displaying device.

 

Controller is brandnew....please suggest anyother way.

remote is blinking light but not getting connected........and it dont have usb connnection also only bluetooth support

 

please let me know what can be done else i have to give my console to Sony service center.

Is the problem only with GOW3 or other games as well ?

 

Try the controller on a different PS3 to check if the problem still remains.

I dont think this new controller would work directly. Sony does not allow third party accessories to connect directly with PS3's internal BT. You would need to use an external dongle that must have come with your controller..

shantz@i have tried external dongle but its not showing.

 

i have restarted my machine thrice but same thing is happening .As if now my other ps3 with not with me so will be tkaing console to service center tommorow

dont have extra ps3 so wont be trying it.

 

rest i will trying to get replace...else i will drag them to forum court.......

for the controller... it seems to be a problem with the D-Pad if i got that correct....

check with some other game... perhaps a customer dropped it down/spilled a drink on it...

 

as for the other bluetooth controller... have u done pairing?? like with the bluetooth headset?

actually its not problem with d-pad as in god of war .3 kratos.......is just taking bow out..for any scenario without pressing any button also.......as d-pad is working fine in ps3 menu.........

 

i dont have bluetooth headset.i just have dongle which came along remote but no light display is there in dongle .........only there is light display in controller as we have in our ps3 controller

 

anyway will go to service center and will ask them to replace ..it else i wil take them to forum court.as i was about to finish god of war 3...................
