How long does it take to commute from Noida to gurgaon by car? just need some information

Depending on traffic and time of the day, anything between 1 hour to 3 hours.

3 hours is on an extreme end though. 1.5 hrs would be the average.

2 to 2.5 hours during peak hours. 1 hour if roads are empty. And 3.5 to 5 hours on very rare instances and national holidays.

Once I dropped my mother to airport (only 15-20 kms from Gurgaon). She reached Mumbai, and from Mumbai to Navi Mumbai and called me to ask where I was. I replied "I will reach Gurgaon in another 15-20 mins)

I thought this thread was for bitching and moaning about the Delhi Heat? What's with all this OT about travelling and time taken to travel??

Back on topic: I hate the Heat, it sooooooooooooooo hot......sometimes i feel like

@Bebop and Afty: I need a haircut and shower tooo :P but the water from the cold water taps is so hot.......how is one expected to take bath in such hot water?

@Bull: The damn power cuts in Gurgaon, at least Delhi peeps have it a lil better than us when it comes to long power cuts.

Wasin Mumbai for a day this week, damn what humidity and heat. Mumbai climate never fails to piss me off. Took the shower, came out, started sweating like a pig, took 3 showers in less than 12 hrs.

And in the other news, it rained in Bangalore <3.

The climate of Mumbai is lot more better than other places I think. Its not that hot over here I think, but the Humidity has surely risen a lot. at least bbeing in AC helps over here coz it removes the moistness from the air, even after switching off teh AC u feel comfortable for 20-30 mins. but in my native place, there is a competition between AC and mother nature. AC tries to blow in the cool air and nature blows in the Hot air at double the rate.

I hate Mumbai's climate. It's never subtle. Too much rain, too much heat, no cool climate at all. At least Delhi get's a nice winter after a steamy summer.

And then we have the crap load of vehicles. You can't stand your car on either sides because all others cars (like your own) are venting enormous heat which nullifies any air conditioning. It's like sitting in a microwave which in turn sits in a bigger microwave with only heat waves visible as far as the eyes can see.

Walking is equally bad since the surface itself reflects god awful heat. If you are wearing shoes with thin soles, you are in for some involuntary tap dance. And with no signs of greenery, it becomes really tough. I really feel for those who have to cover great distances on foot.

And it's not just us, saw in the news yesterday that 3 leopards came out of the jungle to search for water but died of thirst. :P
