MarketTantrik
From the side, may be. From the front, it screams 360 Modena.peace The Modena drew inspiration for certain design elements from the original McLaren F1. The MP4-12C is the natural evolution of the F1. MarketTantrik
And it has some similarities with the F1 but F1 >>>> MP4-12C It should be. The F1 cost a million dollars. the 12C costs a quarter of that.
abhi90
It should be. The F1 cost a million dollars. the 12C costs a quarter of that. Well it was one of a kind, a technical marvel, that took a car with almost 1.5 times the power and an engine that wasn'tt naturally aspirated, so it deserved that price. abhi90
McLaren took two BMW straight 6 blocks and welded them together to create the V12 in the F1. a quick wiki tells me S70/2 6,064 cc (6.064 L; 370.0 cu in) version developed for the McLaren F1. The S70/2 was a complete redesign from M70 with no common parts, featuring a lighter and smaller engine block. I'm not arguing also they sued traditional parts rather than new things as they wanted to make it simple and more durable, but it's not that they were the same as you said, And if it were that easy then we would have a car bettering it by welding two higher capacity engines to form a better car ?
