How much will Service ask if ask for a replacement. My brother's Z1 screen got cracked yesterday. Can anyone give me a rough amount? Also, whats the best back up app on market? Is there any way to restore the entire phone setup as it is without root? My brother said it could be done in nokia phones and he actually did it few times and it restored even the wallpaper. So, is there anything in market that could do such a thing? IIRC Sony won't repair the phone. They'll tell you to give a certain amount (above 20k) and will give you a new phone. My friends Z1 screen cracked and sony were quoting a very high amount. He got it fixed locally for 10k. Nope.. All Z series phones get replaced if theres even a minute fault. No repair. It is physical damage so I don't think it'll be covered under standard warranty.
