ALPHA17
looking to get one for my mom. How much would the wait be? Get the MOTO X first gen.
piper
Oh ok So if you were in my shoes you would go with it? Or something else? I'd go for the Honor 6. Huawei is one of the under appreciated brands, but they provide good vfm phones. FWIW, it has expandable memory, good battery and a promised update to Lollipop. Even has 4G (though not compatible with Airtel and Aircel).
godspeed4476
Just get the battery replaced. How much will it cost? Btw its a UK phone, it has no outer marking like AT&T but will the service center guys find out? a guy is willing to buy it for 19K , its a fair price, right? He just bought a pen for Rs. 1200 . Don't talk cheap stuff with him

piper
^ Xiaomi Redmi 1s Batttery life is a bummer unless you do a lot of tweaks (underclock the CPU, etc.) Plenty of dual SIM phones in that range... e.g. Gionee Marathon M3, Honor 3C, etc.
Parvinder Singh
^ Xiaomi Redmi 1s This one looks to be amazing on paper... although available thru the register thingy on flipkart. Batttery life is a bummer unless you do a lot of tweaks (underclock the CPU, etc.) Plenty of dual SIM phones in that range... e.g. Gionee Marathon M3, Honor 3C, etc. Thanks for the options but never really used these phones.. how are these? also customer reviews are bleak on FK which suggests not many go for them. aren't there any moto G/X/E type phones with cdma+gsm dual sim option? The ones i checked are all gsm+gsm.

quixote_1989
I was denied warranty for my Xperia ZR today since my invoice doesn't have IMEI number. Is that an actual requirement for warranty claims? Phone was purchased from seller dekoit in Flipkart.
