3 weeks on and I'm absolutely loving the Moto Z Play

> Performance wise its snappy af

> Looks classy, particularly the patterned, glass back.

> Display is excellent. Really bright and vibrant even when set at 40-50℅.

> Speaker is loud and clear (compared to the Xperias I owned before)

> The Moto features- moto display, moto gestures etc. are actually useful !

> Camera more than okay for the little use I have of it. Its bad a low light though.

> Battery life, and I cannot stress this enough, is GOD level !!!

The issue I had with stock UI has mostly been taken care of by Nova launcher :)

Only thing I'm missing are the audio enhancements Xperia offered with its Walkman player. Even after a lot of tinkering with Poweramp I haven't quite managed to get that same audio quality over earphones, plenty loud but not the same quality. Its still pretty good, just not *as* good as the Xperia. Hopefully this one shortcoming will go away as well with time as I get used to it.

Picked up a honor 8 for wife today, lets see how the phone turns out to be have only read good things about it.

Watch my above linked video. Just because you hear good things about something doesn't necessarily mean its good. That video is about biased reviews. Really good video.

I read enough and know enough to know what is right and wrong. The specs are pretty awesome and benchmarks on almost multiple sites are the same. For an uninformed buyer your video is probably much better.

Does that video talk about Honor 8 ?

Video specifically mentions Honor 8 and other honor phones.

Ok. I just wanted to share a video. Its not just for uninformed people. Seen many knowledgeable people fall into marketing traps.

Ya i am sure they do, best is to go through several websites and if results seems to be in the same ball park you are pretty much in good hands. Go to sites like anandtech, they are one of the most genuine people out there. See YouTube videos only to see how the phone looks in person. I did see the phone in person, but the shopkeeper did not let me switch it on.

Which is the best app for offline 3d GPS navigation? I downloaded sygic as it has tomtom maps but it is not showing my area in it, and our area is a known location.

Google maps is reliable but it's 2d map stresses my eyes, and 3d has a front view instead of a top down which is easy for my eyes.
