Shantz Posted January 11, 2011 Report Share Posted January 11, 2011 So, why does the android gallery's background display a weird stretched out pixelated version of some random photo of the album in view? Is this correct or is it a bug? Coz it honestly looks weird :-/ I don't know why they show it but I don't get any pixelations in the background.. more like a smooth gradient.. in fact for a long time I didn't even notice that it was stretching an image from the album, just thought it was changing the background gradient randomly.. Yea smooth gradient is the technical word I guess, but is there a way to change that? To maybe some sort of collage or tiles of photos in your album? Because if its a low res image or lets say I have a couple of folders of thumbnails and album art which are low res, then they appear stretched and spoils the look of the gallery itself which is pretty awesome. I dont think there is a direct way to change it... vbhoj74 Posted January 11, 2011 Report Share Posted January 11, 2011 Lookout Free has the Locate phone option (I'm guessing that is what the other app does) With lookout free you can trace your phone on GPS but ti does not SMS you back when the SIM changes which is pretty important and precisely what the other app does for free. I use wavesecure and its pretty good. The only thing is that it is costly (I got it for free lifetime subscription though as they had a promotion going on last year ) Awesome!
