Superfrag
I added the Airtel APN to my Nexus S. Worked perfectly. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=550673 http://rake.sh/blog/2010/02/08/using-the-google-nexus-one-on-airtel-in-india/
Solitaire
I'm just waiting for CM7 to hit RC. Nightlies don't look to be that stable, from the forums. Yep, sooner the better. Somehow r10 keeps messing my cell connectivity up. Doesn't reboot anymore though (coincidentally ever since I installed the 1.2.2 Netarchy kernel with BFS and clocked it to 1.3Ghz). Is there any android tool that records current CPU speed? Need to see whether the screeen off profile is actually working.

I believe what you are looking for is contents of /proc/cpuinfo (Which is the case for all linux systems). start an adb shell and then run cat /proc/cpuinfo.. Solitaire
I believe what you are looking for is contents of /proc/cpuinfo (Which is the case for all linux systems). start an adb shell and then run cat /proc/cpuinfo.. That worked. Thank you. Yeah the BogoMIPS field shows my processor clock. Hmmmm... so if I set SetCPU to 1300-1000 it actually clocks my cpu only to 1000. Had to set both min and max to 1300 to get it to work at 1.3 Ghz. Yeah, it does switch to 1300 when something more intensive like a game starts off. And it's running the screen off profile at 200Mhz. Confirmed that atleast. What do you guys think? Clock it to 1.3Ghz permanently (with the exception of the screen off profile) or leave it at 1000 / 1300?? Or clock it to 1.4Ghz Edited February 12, 2011 by Gaurav - Solitaire
Superfrag
I don't use SetCPU on NS. It doesn't feel as optimized as it is for the Qualcomm chips.

Then what do u use to achieve the overclock of 1.3 / 1.4 capable with the Netarchy kernel?
Hot-Drake-Pixel
I observed a limitation in android while developing my app. You cant check the content type of any given page loaded through WebView. Which means you have to make separate net api call to determine the content type. More the calls, more the radio usage(3g/wifi), more battery usage. @gabru, what say? Did you face this scenario before?

Did you face this scenario before? I haven't used webview so far so dont know much...there is an api i saw sometime back where webview can call back ur function and then you can take care of loading each and every thing..also there is another api to get mime types from extensions and another one (java api) to get mime type from content.. I havent used any of them though..probably you can take a look..
