winny29
^^ shanti..my desire doesnt have the option of "2G" it has wcdma / gsm / gsm+wcdma... so i have set that as gsm Am thinking of doing a factory reset. Will i have to re-root this thing?? Out of frustation i ordered this from ebay. At this rate, i dont think i can be away from a charger for any more than 9 hours. Why not get a spare battery bro? Shantz
Woah.. I guess I'm the lucky one then?.. For me 1.5-2 days (or sometimes even more) on light usage, around 1.5 days or slightly less on moderate use and around 1 day or slightly less on heavy use.. PS: for me, moderate use = 1 email account push on, edge always on, around 10 mb edge usage in day, 1 hour voice call, aroudn 2 hour music, some general goofing around with phone and bit of surfing, 10-20 mins of games like super ko boxing (real power sucker) or slime ball speedway etc, and a bit of wi-fi here and there.. Bird Bird Bird
Guess it's the same with all smartphones.. My Omnia 2 on 3G with continuous browsing, tweeting etc (i.e. active 3G usage) gives a backup of 4 hours max.. Superfrag
Even my BB has great battery life. Normal day to day usage for me : 1-1.5 hours of voice calling, 30mins-1 hour of IM & BBM. 3 email accounts constantly on push and updating, twitter constantly on, gtalk and windows live constantly on, 2-3 hours of music when going to sleep and travelling, 30-1 hour of surfing depending on whether I travel a lot or not. Get around 1 day of battery life on 3G.. at the end its at around 25-35%.

KnackChap
i have to say that Motorola India's after sales has been pretty exemplary so far. i had a problem with my milestone camera not focussing correctly and within a week those guys sent me a new phone. btw i got my phone from abroad so technically according to these guys its a grey market piece.
