And there is a new rom out almost every week for it... the optimus one has nothing but froyo as a plus point which I think you are gonna mod anyway.... Seems pretty good for the price if you just want a really low cost android phone with plenty of dev support from XDA. It's got the same innards as ZTE Blade with soft-locked RAM i.e. 256MB is locked. Modaco has in-depth tuts to unlock the extra RAM hence unlocking the full potential @ 512MB !
