Shantz
^^ they might have locked it because of battery concerns, some other technical problems they might be having or just because they wanted to sell another model at a higher price point by showing extra ram as a benefit. xcd warranty support is there. but someone in the know told me that it is not fully clear how it is handled. some say that dell will take calls and actual service will be handled by zte. Some say that even calls will be handled by zte but the people will identify themselves as dell guys over the phone and in person.

And it's much more expensive too (Compared to the ZTE Blade) I guess the best way is to have someone coming from the US pick up a ZTE Blade / unlocked Orange San Francisco. Bird Bird Bird
yeah.. two of my friends ordered through killthedope, got it pretty quickly. Give it a try. Hmm. 11k with a said 10 day wait. (Which IMO will actually be ~15 seeing the threads on [E] and TE.) Whatcha think ? I wonder how this will work out. Will it result in more exclusives courtesy of the Amazon Store? WTF is wrong with Dell, why would they prevent the full RAM from being used via firmware?! :S Seriously man ! But why a different app store ? Doesn't Google need to unify everything under a single umbrella ? About Dell, pretty much the same reasons what Shantz said. Probably to make a costlier handset more appealing ! :| Any idea when are LG Optimus 3D and SGS2 coming out ? According to GSMArena LGO3D should have been out by Feb. Nice comparison of that vs SGS2/LGO 2x CPUs & GPUs @ Anandtech. LGO3D beats the sh*t outta them, even Tegra 2 based devices

Superfrag
Log in to your Google Account (which you've used for your phone) by clicking sign in on the top right. :| And then proceed to install ; it'll automatically download and install on your phone. Which phone and OS btw? Has to be 2.2 and above AFAIK.

Which phone and OS btw? Has to be 2.2 and above AFAIK. That's one of many cool features of Android. Remote app purchase and installation. No annoying iTunesSync or PC connection required. App and it's updates are directly delivered to your phone. Let's say you forgot your phone at home and while browsing at work you found a nice app. Select it from market place using your gmail id and it will be ready on your phone when you get home. note: 2.2 not mandatory. I am 2.1 Update1 and I could do remote installation. Edited March 15, 2011 by Hot-Killzone-Pixel

Superfrag
Anyone knows where I can order some NFC tags? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=980741 I can see a lot of ways to make use of the NFC chip! This is awesome! Another NFC app is the NXP Tagwriter, (the NFC chip inside the NS is by NXP AFAIK) I've come across some really fun new games for Android : Bowquest! Pandamania, Cyberlords : Arcology, AirAttack HD, Cordy, Pinball Deluxe, Stellar Escape (think Mirror's Edge), Majesty(think that PC game long back!), Doodle Bowling.. sad part is I haven't got time to play these games too much. :| ScoreMobile, my favorite sports app also supports ICC Cricket now.. another new app I really like is Wave Launcher, it's an extension to your default launcher, check YouTube videos. Something people haven't mentioned is that you can have upto 12 items in the "wave". Any other good apps you'll have come across?
