yea the possibilities of near field comm are endless. damn man, will the nexus s ever release here at all?

I sent the idiots at samsung an email asking about where I could get the N-S' battery officially (since it uses pretty much the same battery as the Moment, Instinct HD, Behold II etc) and the idiots keep replying with "Sir, the GT I9020 Nexus S hasn't released in India, we thank you for your patronage" without talking about the battery at all

Retards!

I don't think they plan to officially release the Nexus S ever in India. Damn good phone.

Hmm. 11k with a said 10 day wait. (Which IMO will actually be ~15 seeing the threads on [E] and TE.) Whatcha think ?

Seriously man ! But why a different app store ? Doesn't Google need to unify everything under a single umbrella ?

revenue my dear friend. Google is not the one who's sponsoring Amazon.

Its gonna be a tooth n nail fight between the two now.

^Rather wait for Honeycomb to mature. Aka let it get a few .x updates ironing out the initial bugs, let some good number of 3rd party apps be developed, then take the plunge. Now its pointless.

True that.

I tried Galaxy Tab before getting the iPad and it's nothing to rave about. Plus you have the ambiguity of not getting all the apps for the Tab resolution. Another thing which did put me off is the lack of support on primary android hacking forums like XDA. Support is def there, but it's non existent if you compare it with the HTC/Samsung phones.

Another flaw, which is more of a personal thing IMO, is the 7" screen. Didn't feel comfortable browsing on the 7 incher with tiny text. You can zoom in or can view the mobile page, but then that isn't a real desktop experience. Again it's a personal choice, but I'll urge you to try both Tab & iPad side by side to see the differences.

If you are adamant on Android, seriously wait for Honeycomb. And a 10 incher.
