ayush12ice
i was also looking at desire S. is it any good?
Ne0
^^ I've used desire Z (which my colleague has) the previous version to desire S, and its brilliant. It seems he has removed the htc sense, and has vanilla android installed. UI is fast and very responsive, no lag nothing. The AMOLED screen looks excellent. BTW, airtel is gonna launch iphone 4 in a couple of months, why not wait until then ?
Maximus
Guys, using a Samsung Galaxy S on a 2.2 update. Really need a free Weather & News Application for my homescreen. Currently using Accu Weather but does not auto refresh and the news too is very much US centric. Any suggestions please?
Superfrag
Desire Z doesn't have AMOLED, it has a SLCD screen.

ayush12ice
isn't Nexus S arnd 30k something?
Ne0
I think Desire Z in India comes with S-LCD, the earlier models that sold was using AMOLED. Desire Z is the one with keypad along with the touchscreen right ?
Solitaire
isn't Nexus S arnd 30k something? You can get it for 27k I think from flipkart. But it's the SLCD version of the Nexus S not the AMOLED one that Superfrag and I are using. The AMOLED one can be obtained from the states fully unlocked for 530 dollars or so from Bestbuy or 560 from Amazon (both unlocked).
