ColorCodePurple
For all guys asking about rooting, there is no danger it definately and technically void your warranty but you can always revert check out the forums at xdadevelopers.com on instruction on how to do it. Rooting definitely has advantages,You can install custom ROMS which are a million times better than the stock ones while in words this may sound pale, you gotta see it to believe it I would advice to research though be carefull that you atleast know a part of what you are doing. Death Stryke
The Android tablet problem Fairly honest post. Of course, what happens in 2012 no one knows yet, but today, this is true.
Sherry Jose
I have a rooted Nook color, i tried playing MP4 format movies and it didn't play, but it played mkv format files with hiccups Currently the book is running Gingerbread 2.3.4 (beta) . Does anybody have any idea about this ?
KWC
Can anyone suggest an alternative home screen locker? Sliding the picture out of the screen to unlock is cumbersome to say the least!
Superfrag
I have a rooted Nook color, i tried playing MP4 format movies and it didn't play, but it played mkv format files with hiccups Currently the book is running Gingerbread 2.3.4 (beta) . Does anybody have any idea about this ? Use Moboplayer from the market, it's free and works very well. The Android tablet problem Fairly honest post. Of course, what happens in 2012 no one knows yet, but today, this is true. Yup, read that earlier.. makes a lot of sense, although part of the fault lies with Google, there are actually a good number of Honeycomb apps, but it's very hard to find them, even when using the Web Market. Sigh. But yeah, I wouldn't suggest an Android tablet right now in place of the iPad 2, unless the buyer has specific needs or wants Android only. Death Stryke
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMW7xDM-XXI&feature=youtu.be Samsung should fire the ad agency who makes their ads. Is this what people do with a tablet. An animal photographer using a fking tablet to capture running horses??? Really samsung? Man, they really need to do a study of what people really use tablets for. They seem to have no idea what is their tab's main purpose. Not to mention, most of the advertised features require 3G (Atleast where they r shooting it). Dont think they've released a 3G model yet? Solitaire
Does anybody have any idea of the wait time between requesting and receiving a Google Music Beta invite? Do they send them out in waves to people who've registered? I signed up for an invite around 3 days ago. Shantz, how long did it take you between registering and finding the invite in your mailbox? Shantz, how long did it take you between registering and finding the invite in your mailbox? yes, invites are being sent in waves.. I registered just before google music was announced at i/o and got it 2 weeks afterwards..however, the waiting time should have exponentially increased after it since the info about registering was made public..
