Hey guys,

There are tonnes of Xbox live, PSN and Steam apps on the market. They all require my login info. Is it safe to trust them just because they're off the market or should I avoid them. If I have to tread cautiously, please suggest me the reputed apps for the same.

share the links here so everyone can know exactly which apps you are talking about

Also check for the basics: reviews, ratings and stuff..if anyone has commented about theft of account etc.

I used one app (dnt remember the name) but it basically just showed all my psn friends, online and offline, with their trophies and stuff..no messaging though..no harm done to account yet :P

steam doesn't have an android app, so i wouldn't trust any app that asks for your steam credentials. don't know about the other two but i seriously doubt it.

Ya they say it in the PSN app description anyways that 'We are not affiliated with sony in any manner'

Points noted.....will avoid them :fear:

Guys, is there any better phone in 15k range other than DEFY. After reading countless reviews and articles defy is looking the only decent phone in this range. Although, I am pretty sure I didn't miss anything but still is there any good phone I am missing in 15k range. Ruggedness doesn't matter to me so not buying it for its ruggedness. Spice Mi-410 (ideos X6) have much better specs than defy and its 1k cheaper but the brand :( So, should I just go for it? Oh and I don't think defy+ will launch at similar price so no to it. The biggest drawback of defy is that its on FroYO and I don't think it'll ever update :|

Samsung Wave II has such an awesome hardware but no android is a deal breaker for me. Samsung Y noe release WAVE 2 with andorid :(

Something I can't do. 14-16k max :(.

So, its final then. I am not missing anything.

One thing though. If you're not entirely sure about the decision, I suggest you consider lowering your budget and get a lesser phone for lesser price, so that you can go all out for a much better phone, say, a year from now.

Guys, my Samsung Galaxy S fails to charge. Tried the regular charger as well as the USB one. Showed it to the local mobile shop at Khan Market and they say there is an issue with the Jack panel, which needs a replacement. I did not allow him to open it up. The phone is out of warranty.

Anyone had this issue here? Shall I send it to Samsung or get it done through the local shop?

i thought you had a low budget, never knew you had high demands too

in that case, wait for Samsung Galaxy W

should be out soon, in a month or so, maybe

is should be in your range as it has the moniker W so it sits in the middle of the new naming convention as below

the new naming system, or the “SRWMY” scale. Basically, the S (Super Smart) devices are the cream of the crop Galaxy phones. The Samsung Galaxy S would fall into that category. Secondly, R (for Royal or Refined) will designate the premium models. Then, you’ve got W (for Wonder) for the mid-range phones. Following that are the M (for Magical) high-performance models that are more affordable, and finally Y (Young), which are the entry models and aimed at a younger audience.
