i thought you had a low budget, never knew you had high demands too

Abey beizzati kar raha hai kya :( Defy is in my budget and has all my demands except 2.3 but I just can't get everything I know. Although, I would gladly sacrifice defy for this phone. No information on GPU yet SGX 540 would be killer :wOOtjumpy: I just hope samsung will release it next month :|

EDIT: REPPED

Personal experience:

Won an auction for an Inspire 4G on Ebay. Paid the money through a guest paypal account and changed primary mailing address to the SS account address. Paypal india account wont work as ebay will immediately show an error that item cant be shipped to your address.

Item reached their warehouse 2 days after i paid for it. From there it took 6 days to reach me in Bangalore.

Total cost involved: ~13.5k

Breakup:

Phone - brand new Inspire 4g - $280 incl shipping

Shipping and customs via SNS - 900 + 200

P.S. The Inspire 4g doesn't support the 3G band in India (2100 Mhz). I knew this so it wasn't an issue for me.

@dante77 get an incredible S, Inspire 4g, or Motorola Atrix from Ebay US and get it shipped here via shopandship.com. Should get it for within 16k-17k incl customs and shipping.

Whoa are you serious Atrix in 16K?

if you can please get a quote from SnS guys for me (i will really buy it if its for 16K) it will be a minimum 18K i think..16K is a bit too low for the beast..I mean the Captivate quote came to 17K so atrix being a newer and costlier phone am guessing quote will be higher.

@dante Dude try shipping in phones if warranty isnt an issue for you...in that case 15K will get you a kickass phone for sure.

And yeah if i were to choose between ace and defy i would also choose the defy...A bad point about the phone is that several friends of mine complain of it lagging all the time...but then again it does have +'s as listed by you, besides It can also be Overclocked..I think its a good choice if you want Warranty otherwise whatever you buy right now for 15K will not be VFM in anyway.

Pretty sure the Inspire 4G supports 2100Mhz. 850Mhz for AT&T, and 2100Mhz for the rest of the world. (Most of it, anyways).

Guys, is there any better phone in 15k range other than DEFY. After reading countless reviews and articles defy is looking the only decent phone in this range. Although, I am pretty sure I didn't miss anything but still is there any good phone I am missing in 15k range. Ruggedness doesn't matter to me so not buying it for its ruggedness. Spice Mi-410 (ideos X6) have much better specs than defy and its 1k cheaper but the brand :( So, should I just go for it? Oh and I don't think defy+ will launch at similar price so no to it. The biggest drawback of defy is that its on FroYO and I don't think it'll ever update :|

Samsung Wave II has such an awesome hardware but no android is a deal breaker for me. Samsung Y noe release WAVE 2 with andorid :(

The MI 410 is the same as the Cherry Magnum HD, which is nothing but another rework of the Huawei Ideos X6. For its price range, specifications and sleek looks, I'd say go for it. It would be wise to walk into one of the Spice Mobile stores and see if you can lay your hands on a test piece first. That is always a deciding factor.

btw, Huawei phones are mostly decent, even the low and mid-range Dell phones are all OEM from Huawei.

I know huawei is decent company. I have Huawei modem for 6 years and it never failed me. But that would still make me a chinese mobile owner :P Specs wise it is best no doubt here

pretty sure 90% of all electronics these days are made in china. this shouldn't be a point against this phone.

I just tried Launcher Pro, and found it smoother than Go Launcher..

Is it actually smoother or is it just me?

To tell you the truth i find the TW Launcher the best :P;)...got bored of all these launchers ..all they do is take up unnecessary ram...but some people like customizing it so be it :D

It's not just you. LP is the smoothest out there.

My case was the total opposite. On CM7.1 based NSCollab, my LP kept getting sluggish and crashing frequently. Replaced it with GO launcher and it has been very smooth since then.
