Big Boss
I hate my I9100G. Any one interested to buy it for 25k? Its 4 months old, non-rooted, in very good condition, barely used. Bill, accesories everything available. F**king Samsung, its rumored that I9300 and I9308 will be 2 Galaxy S3 versions.

piper
I like that I9100G to I9100 story. You have to stand your ground to get anything, not just in India but anywhere else as well. Nowadays most companies are leaning towards replacement rather than service so it is easier (as compared to a few years back).

I know a few guys in Pune mirror. If your box / website displayed information of I9100 but they sold you I9100G then sure. Otherwise drop it, no point taking up the cause. If it makes you feel better, then IMO I9100G performs fairly well as a phone in comparison to I9100, it just has low developer support due to non-availability in markets other than India and for folks who like to tinker with their phone (flashing ROMs every other day) then it is a major deal breaker. But as a phone, it is quite decent I'd say.

Right
I think its better to take up the case with Google and inform them about their favorite OEM's douchebaggery. Who knows they might send you one G-Nexus (or a NexusG ) as a consolation. One of my colleague and his brother were also duped last month, he got fad up with it after a week, the contact list was jerking while scrolling, the names were showing smudges, minor niggles... but feeling of getting duped aggravated him more. Finally, after pressurizing the Samsung store guys, they replaced it. But his brother who got it from Croma, wasn't so lucky, after a long wait they supposedly gave him used display piece, citing reasons of unavailability. Take it to Samsung service center the way that guy over at XDA did. Be firm and be very very patient. Not sure of how the lawyer route would be. Big Boss
I9100G USERS, DO NOT UPDATE to latest firmware. It f**ks phone up. 4 guys tried it, 3 got stuck on bootscreen, and only 1 was successful. I expected this sh*t from Samsung so didn't upgrade. Big Boss
his mom is one of the Top Income Tax Officer, good luck Samsung, get it replaced or u r f**ked Dude his phone must have I9100 instead of I9100G. If its written I9100G, then nothing can be done. That model I9100GLKINU etc is not the issue.
