One last question :fear: :

Does flashing a custom ROM (on any phone, Note or HOX), change the stock HTC camera settings and behaviour ? As in will all the options will still be there (including burst mode and clicking pics while shooting videos) or will they change according to the ROM maker ?

^^ tell u what, there's no mobile that'll meet all ur requirement....something good will always come in the next month....everything has its pros and cons, the more research u do, the more you get confused, so just list down your reqs, prioritize them, and buy the phone which meets 'most important ones' !

I know that. And that was one of the reasons I was using my aged SE K850i till now (bought way back in Dec 2007). But it's gone kaput (like really kaput with the panels coming apart, the Xenon broken and the phone refusing to boot with the service center giving no hopes of repairing it) and that's why I'm going in for a new phone. And I want it to last.

Plus if I'm spending 30k+ on a phone, I bloody well research about it beforehand rather than headbang against a wall afterwards.

Edit: Xenon, not LED.

Plus the reason I'm stressing for a good cam is many a times I've to click patient photographs (specially macro shots) for weird/rare diseases that we see in the wild, to be forwarded to overseas MSF offices. Can't overlook that.

Samsung camera > HTC Camera

Size of Screen > HTC screen

S pen > No competition.

Quad Core > Dual Core (For now on paper)

User replacable battery > Non replacable Battery (Seeing you going to lug your phone along for long, replacable battery is a better bet)

ICS> GB (But ICS coming in month or so, and believe me with TW, you don't miss ICS much)

TW=Sense

32+16 GB > 32 Gb Internal

For you LCD 2> SAmoled

It's almost samsung all the way for you, or you can add your preference here and decide.

Except TW=Sense, all points are valid.

And finally changed your avatar, that scowling Kratos was getting old. Good.

Hmmm. Thanks !

Get Note. Ever since its released, you have been going gaga over it. ICS will soon be released for it, and you wont really miss HTC One X.

Errmm.. where ? Haven't went gaga over any Android device apart from Xperia S & HOX. And Xperia S isn't as sexy as it looks on screen. So yes, gaga over HOX, not over Note.

My bad. I got you confused with some one else. Though I remember you getting very interested in Note. :scratchchin:

No probs. Got interested in Note only after using it 2-3 days back.

You can't go wrong with either of them, but the Note is the better choice imo.
