TRMNTR
Today, I installed MIUI v4 on an S2 -- for a friend. It looks stunning on that device! Much better than what it looks on the Note. I miss the S2 now!
Solitaire
You have me on Instagram yes? All my pics since the GNex box shots on my profile are with it's camera. You can take pretty good photos with it if you know what you're doing. Of course this one's using Instagram:
Bird Bird Bird
So after 2 days of use, can absolutely vouch for the screen size. It's perfect (though I miss HOX's screen) ! Tried rooting (by going back to an earlier rootable rom and then rooting and then upgrading), but MobileOdin keeps on getting stuck, giving bootloops (while updating to current firmware). Tried via CWM but it just refuses to update to the current firmware. So rooting is a no go currently (already tried 3 times). :| Any ways to install GPlay apps via PC ? Consumes too much bandwidth getting them via 3G (wifi not working @ home).
Right
Today, I installed MIUI v4 on an S2 -- for a friend. It looks stunning on that device! Much better than what it looks on the Note. I miss the S2 now! I found 4 a bit unstable, Ginger is still very good, but yeah they should port it for Note.

ash_
Flashed my s2 with the Resurrection Remix rom yesterday. Works quite well. Here are a few screen shots:
Big Boss
Get the wifi working or pay the 3G charges. No way to download the apps to PC. Purchase them via Desktop, but they will be downloaded automatically to mobile via 3G/GPRS/EDGE/Wifi.
TRMNTR
I found 4 a bit unstable, Ginger is still very good, but yeah they should port it for Note. I've ported it myself for the Note. But it doesn't look as appealing. Plus, MIUI for S2 is a combination of TW and MIUI -- best of both worlds!

Err.. yeah. What I meant is any way to download them to PC and then install over USB ? Get the wifi working or pay the 3G charges. No way to download the apps to PC. Also, HSs: Wallpaper looks more blackish on Note's screen (looks grey here :|)

Plus, MIUI for S2 is a combination of TW and MIUI -- best of both worlds! Cuz the screen size is odd and the icons don't look good? Then a proper port from miui is much needed. Btw, Xiomi has announced that they are going to release it soon for HOX.
TRMNTR
Mostly because of the screen size and the launcher. The 4x4 layout doesn't go well with such a big screen. It needs to be flexible. There was a modded launcher available earlier which supported custom grid size and MIUI on the Note looked by far the prettiest of them all -- no kidding. But that isn't supported any more. As far as the icons go, GB themes do have lo-res icons however the v4 theme icons look just fine.
Right
The current launcher allows grid change. But yes icon size will be a problem. Obviously there focus will be on newer devices and V4 so unlikely that ginger will get officially ported. But theres still some hope, on Xperia s, which will get an port and since it is greater need of bigger icons, as it has very high DPI, same can be used for note. But one thing is sure, I will definitely look at availability of official miui a before I buy a phone. I can't live with bloatwares and unfriendly UI the stock phones are shipped with. Not to mention the battery suckings. Edited April 21, 2012 by Udham

Bird Bird Bird
^^ Inspired by a theme showcased @ Lifehacker. Using: - WidgetLocker with D3CowonTransparent theme (XDA) - MetroStation Icons (with Go Launcher EX) - Blo0ps DA wallpapers (Awesomeness !) Need to tweak it a bit more. EDIT - NVM. I thought you were talking about MIUI v4. :/ I've tried every ROM out there for the Note; keep coming back to MIUI. With the S2, I had like a million theme assets to customize every 'lil detail. Miss the times! I just hope MIUI China fixes all the theming issues quickly.
