I think SIII & HTC One both are exceptionally Power packed Smartphones. Most of the features are same.. with just minor differences...

Future Smartphone buyers will just have to look either the Brand which they are comfortable or Just search the entire Web regarding this:-

Which is more powerful --> Nvidia Tegra 3 or Exynos 4212 Quad.

It all started with VGA Camera, I remember the craze for Nokia 6600! then 1 MP, 1.3 MP, then 2.0-3-5.. Now 8 is Trend.. Slowly 12 will be the standard!

And DAMN! That Prada from LG is too sexy to Ignore... LG is really nailing when it comes to Hardware Design.:O

C'mon. MP doesn't mean that the cam would take super snappy pics. There are tonnes of other factors which really affect the actual quality of pics :|

Exynos 4212. In fact, according to GSM Arena review, SIII edges out One X in performance, sound quality, video recording quality and battery life.

Their conclusion makes a lot of sense:

The HTC One X: this is what a droid flagship should look like. The Samsung Galaxy S III: that's what a droid flagship should perform like.

Bought the Galaxy Note N7000 today. Loving it, especially that display

So what is the rooting, CWM and ROM scene? Best ROM in terms of UI + performance?

That was the Trend being followed since the Leap of Smartphone days... Camera Quality/Pics/Face Detection and all other factors leave it....

Those things are for the enthusiasts .. A Layman with a money will go for Higher MP camera. Plain & Simple. :)

Currently I am on stock ICS.... Used stunner before. I recommend Stunner Rom, though stock ICS is not bad either... And on stock ics, rooting is easy as pie.

Bro, just help me out with the rooting, etc. part. PMed you for that as well... :)

I traded in my previous phone and it cost me 30k with warranty (that includes the price I got for my old phone). I got both battery covers (flip one too) :D .
