Anshul
^^You're still on stunner? Try paranoid android... But be very careful and follow their instructions to the dot.... It's a fusion of the tablet ui and the phone ui. Ive not had any issues till now... If there's something you want me to check i can do that. And anyone buying S3 today??? I restored rocket rom (gingerbread). Just want to double check if its safe to do a factory reset and install PA now Edited May 30, 2012 by Anshul

Just want to double check if its safe to do a factory reset and install PA now Since you've successfully crossed over to GB, it's okay to install PA now. 1. Factory Reset 2. Install PA 3. Install Fixed GAPPS ...and you're done! Enjoy the awesomest ROM ever!

Also, there's a thread in the 'Android Themes' section on XDA. Two threads -- one's a sticky, the other's not.
AtheK
played a bit with galaxy S3 today, looks much better in real, build quality is def better then Note...it felt zappier but there was something about the display that was wrong, i don't know what exactly but it looked a little bad compared to note, maybe it was me, maybe it was the line behind me to get a feel of it... all in all paying 38k for it is not a good idea, price should come down, maybe like 33-34k it might sound like a good bet. FT-9
I have installed MiUI locker and apex launcher on my galaxy note. The phone is on ICS LP8 stock ROM. At times when I try to return to the home screen, the screen just gets blank. Nothing happens. At times, it says apex launcher is not responding.. and after sometime it displays the home screen Anyone aware of this issue? Is the launcher not compatible with the locker or something like that? I had the same prob on my note, i was using apex launcher with multi live wallpaper and the screen use to go blank on the homescreen, i just disabled the multi wallpaper app and selcted a normal wallpaper image and it fixed the issue, maybe in ur case its the locker which is creating a prob. piper
Compared to the S2, the S3 offers two extra processor cores and a higher resolution display. Not exactly a huge step forward and certainly not worth 38k (Athek is right, ~32k would be better) coz S2 retails for more than 10k lesser and is still a damn good phone. At its current price of 32k (if the size suits you), the Note is still a better choice IMO. Edit : All have the same GPU, the Mali-400MP (ignoring the G version). Is the GPU overclocked in any of these devices? Edited May 31, 2012 by piper
Shantz
^^ The GPU in S3 is clocked much higher than Note/S2
Big Boss
^Yes, S3 is the most powerful phone currently, and if One X is priced at 38k, there is no way S3 can cost less than that. So, expecting 32k for S3 is a massive joke.
piper
^^ The GPU in S3 is clocked much higher than Note/S2 Yeah just checked, the GPU is at 200MHz in S2/Note and 400MHz in S3. Not sure if there is any change in manufacturing process (32 nm) or just software overclocking (in which case devs would be able to overclock the same GPU in S2/Note once S3 kernel source is released).
