Death Stryke
Woah? Serious. Phones of today rarely need those protectors. Its designed to take in daily abuse. Surprising. Consdering all the talk of Gorilla glass etc
Solitaire
I seriously wish Apple get sued sometime, and that they have to stop selling the iPhone. f**king inbred twats getting G-Nex sales banned in the states. W T F retarded bugger who gave that judgement. Besides that, in this particular time of greatness for all things Nexus, I decided to buy myself an extended battery (official Samsung one that is) Now with another replacement battery (again Samsung) that I bought that's lying in Atlanta plus my original one still here, I'm carrying around a lot of spare battery power

There's a thread about it on the HOX section of XDA. I don't think HTC is to blame in this. This has been the case with some other phones too. I'm guessing it's either shoddy work from Gorilla Glass or maybe bad batches which they ignore.
AtheK
Well if it's a bad lot I rather get a replacement anyway I am going to have some fun with them... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

dante77
Galaxy R (around 20k), one V (17k), xperia U (16k, though screen is too small and width is definitely a big concern). Specs wise Xperia U is the best but I don't think you can live with screen size and non-expandable memory, it comes with only 2GB and thats it :|

Even with the high exchange rate, the new $350 price should be around your budget.

In light of recent events, the advantages of having a Galaxy Nexus (or any future Nexus device) are quite clear. The differences in hardware you can see for yourself. 2. Well with moderate usage I'm able to get from off-charge at 7am to around 30% charge at 10pm. Which I guess is alright given the amount of time the screen is on with me on Whatsapp, both on Wifi and with EDGE on always. The screen is the main battery draw here. I carry around an inexpensive spare battery and now an extended battery when I need to travel a lot (GPS + data). Maybe someone else with a Nexus can give you an idea of their battery time too. Yes, it's certainly worse on the battery life front compared to the Galaxy R but then again it's a Nexus, the advantages are of a different vein (hint hint: fastest updates). I think the hardware inside the Nexus is also better (CPU, GPU etc) than the Galaxy R. There is still no confirmed report of ICS on the Galaxy R, or any real news about a confirmed date for its release (they've said it 'may' be out by August). This is when the Nexus can already be put on (the oh-so-wonderful) Jelly Bean. Edited June 30, 2012 by Gaurav - Solitaire

SchizoidFreud
Hey guys, I've been looking to buy a new phone below the 20k range. I don't care about the gaming aspect. The phone will mainly be used for music, messaging and internet usage. Avishkar mentioned the Arc and Desire HD. Both look pretty sweet. Which one do y'all recommend? The price is the biggest priority.
