Well since i made a post in mobile phone thread looking for an alternative to iphone 4..

So JC denton and gaurav suggested me Galaxy S...so i checked out a comparison video between both the phones...

I found apple ip4 is brighter....is Galaxy S liitle dark in display...

and btw one of my friend uses samsung star..in beginning it was good..later the navigation became slow and lot of problems with it...maybe its vulnerable to virus...

is galaxy S going to have same issue...I know star isn't a smartphone actually but still its a samsung...

lemme know...

Yeah but it lacks flash, firmware is clumsy right now. If you are picking a Galaxy S, you might as well wait some time before its perfected but then you just might as well wait for Droid2 to come out. Point is this year there aren't any other Android phones coming out. EVO4G will come out in GSM variant.

@lostavenger

The Desire HD is slated for an OCT 2010 release... n with gingerbread coming before the holidays u can be sure there would be more than one high-end Droid coming before the year ends.

Dude you just keep phailing with everything u post on Android :clap: :doh:

Firmware is pretty stable now.MCR3 should hit the sweet spot but it will be some time till software that exploits the entire horsepower comes along.

Don't understand why you guys are complaining.I was using this for the last three years:

^First custom based on JG5. :clapping: Faster than stock JG5 I hope.

Do we have to reinstall all the apps & reconfigure all the settings?(still haven't rooted so no titanium backup)

Also,did you manage to find the F12010 Timing App?

Its noticeably faster than than the stock JG5 and also comes with a bunch of the MCR scripts such as lagfix, marketspeedup, etc. which are completely optional to install.

I havent found the F1 timing app. I guess there's an issue with protected apps.

I love Google Voice search. Its da frickin bomb :D
