Wondering whether to get my Dad and Mum a Nexus 4 each. Or maybe give my G-Nex/Nexus S to Mum and get 2 Nexus 4 phones for Dad and me.

Nov 13 is supposed to be when it's available but I wonder how long it will actually take to ship :scratchchin: That $349 price is making it incredibly hard to resist upgrading. Wish there was a 32gb option though.

16GB storage is sufficient. Plus it must be supporting USB OTG I suppose.

That's a personal preference. I'm using a 16GB sd card in my Note on top of that internal space. Also, I certainly don't want to carry a pen drive along with me.

Ambar..now N4 has glass back...are glass backs good now?

LG, don't screw is like Samsung did and launch this damn thing in 16gb by the end of the year. Ugh, wish I could carry two phones.

edit: But need to see camera performance first. Gnex had an average cam

G-Nex will be an equally capable device for at least a year. I'd suggest giving it to your mom. Come on now, how can you pass on that Nexus 4 goodness for yourself! ;)

1. Cos my Dad will go "Who wants your old phone :P" (regardless of the fact that my scratch-less G-Nex is a damn good device better than anything my Mum has ever used)

2. Who knows, I might end up winning the Nexus like always and I'll be like "sheeeeeeyit now why did I buy one  " :fear:

Reviews... need reviews .... :panic:

16 Gb is a downer, i think it should have come in 16 and 32 variants rather then 8 and 16. I am always running short with 32 gigs space on HOX wish they had external memory slot.

i just returned from a 3 weeks trip abroad and believe me Google now was so so handy, i completely fell in love with it

It instantly gave me cards like

currency conversion/todays rate from indian rupees

time at home

i had meetings setup at a particular address on google calendar, it automatically setup reminders for me "time to leave" in order to make it to my meeting on time, better than a personal assistant!!!

Google NOW has new capabilities to read gmails, hotel and flight informations will be covered that too coolspeak.gif
