Babyzelda
I believe we need to wait for the premium suite upgrade, unless that also hasn't fixed it. My phone lags so bad at times even typing becomes a pain, Might just go Root it some day, I understand a lot of people are facing this problem but any idea if a fix has been released for this, or when it will be likely? The Wolfy among us
I downloaded the Jelly Bean update on my S3 and it has made my phone extremely slow and laggy. I understand a lot of people are facing this problem but any idea if a fix has been released for this, or when it will be likely? I know it's a stupid thing to do, but if your data is well backed up, try a factory reset. This might help speed up things to a great extent. Are you not into flashing roms? You can also do a wipe after updating. What was your previous firmware version?
dante77
@Hellsboy - You mean there is way :wOOtjumpy: tell me tell me how :wOOtjumpy: btw, the first thing it asks is the credit card number.
_Hellsboy_
Go to wallet.google.com. you can add a debit card there. It will then appear as an option on google play store when you want to buy application. Use the same account as the one you use to access play store when adding debit card

Its highly annoying when during work I get calls and it doesnt load up the contact name and just shows the number. I end up answering all the wrong calls. Extremely frustrating. Im afraid I will lose my contacts, gallery, messages. All of which are critical to me. The previous firmware was the ICS which came pre-installed with the S3. Since you were on ics and jb is a major release after it, so you need to wipe off your data. It's simple, just do a factory reset before and after update. I believe you are already in jb, in that case just do a factory reset. Before resetting, backup your contacts with Google, move images to sd card, take backup of messages with apps available on market. If you are not rooted, then your apps would go, otherwise you can backup those also. Hope this helps.

Is the facebook app installed on the sd card or in the internal storage ? Try moving it to the sd card using titanium backup. Also, go to application management in settings, and clear data for the facebook app. You will have to login again after that.

GameAnalyzer
Custom rom? Rooted? I don't know. How do i find it? I never updated my Android to Jellybean. It's Ice-cream Sandwich. Sorry I'm n00b at mobile phones. Don't know know about technical stuffs.
dante77
You don't need to find out. You are on stock and not rooted and no custom roms installed. I am pretty sure FB app is on internal storage as it doesn't give you the option to move to SD card.

The Wolfy among us
Try clearing only the Facebook data.
dante77
Well, since you can't un-install facebook. Try what above guy said else cleaning data is the only choice you have. Its not a bad thing, if you have a good backup app like Go-backup then there won't be a problem. Its not a problem. OR you can give it to the service centre but they also do the same in most cases.
