dante77
Don't wanna start S3 vs OneX again. I found build quality of OneX far better than S3. Also, sense>Touchwiz.
TRMNTR
An iPhone Lover’s Confession: I Switched To the Nexus 4. Completely. If you come by my house, you'd find four of the latest Apple TVs, two iMacs, the latest MacBook Air, a MacBook Pro, more than five AirPort Express stations and Apple's Time Capsule. You could touch every single iPhone, from the first up to the iPhone 5, iPads ranging from first generation to fourth and we recently added two iPad minis. My iTunes Library comprises well over 8,000 songs – all purchased via the iTunes Store. No matter whom you would ask, everybody will confirm that I'm what some folks call an Apple fanboy. The reach of Apple's products goes beyond my personal life. As the co-founder of Germany's largest mobile development shop, I'm dealing with apps – predominantly iOS powered – in my daily professional life. Driven primarily by the business I run, I tried to give Android a chance more than once. In various self-experiments, I tried to leave my iPhone at home for the Motorola Droid, the Nexus One, the Samsung Galaxy S II and S III – and always switched straight back to the iPhone. None of those Android devices have worked for me – yet. And then I got the Nexus 4. When the latest Google flagship Android device shipped, I almost expected it to turn out as yet another "take-a-look-and-sell-it-on-ebay" experience. Little did I know. An amazing read! PS - Does this belong here or in the Apple thread? :/

sameuun
It's one of the best Samsung based roms for the s3. :good:/> but I'd like to know what is the basic need you have to change your rom? What are you looking for in the custom rom? need? not much, just to get a gud battery life, better performance, speed and a gud look, and i had note, i felt nothing changed in s3 except hardware and some tweeks in stock. You bought S3 :O/> why u no buy OneX? naah, i think im niow comfortable with sam family

If you aren't into the extra apps which Sammy provides, try out CM10.1. Stock Jellybean 4.2.1. You wont go back to the badly themed samsung roms after that,

The Wolfy among us
But but you haven't tried oneX, have you I felt that the S3 has a better build quality. The oneX has a silly toy like plastic feel to it

The Wolfy among us
1080p screen on a phone is just ridiculous! Can't say if it's any useful or not but damn! I used to think so too, but retina display dud really make a difference. So let's see.
TRMNTR
I used to think so too, but retina display dud really make a difference. So let's see. "Retina" Display is around the 320 PPI. A 720p screen can easily reach that PPI. A 1080p screen on the other hand is way beyond retina -- it's around 440PPI. PS - Every smartphone nowadays (and since the last year) has been packing a retina display. Edited January 5, 2013 by iHoneyBadger

Agreed, i was not trying to compare the ppi here... I was metaphorically say that what retina did to tablets, maybe 1080p may do to smartphones. Now that AMOLED and Super LCD are everywhere, they need another innovation... so lets see.
