AtheK
and then cribs about the plastic bits. :P/> Well better to buy plastic at 15k rather then 38k Actually tempted to buy this for office, with onex rooted i can't get office emails, i have to use hide my root, and it is a pain to make any root related changes. Have to reconfigure the stupid airwatch all over again.

AtheK
How does the exchange policy find whether your phone is rooted? My office connection doesn't figure out at all... I have no idea on that maybe by the kernel and anyway we do give them admin access, it runs a test every 5 minutes. Same for ipad you can't connect Jailbroken iPad. It connects and configures but denies access in 5 minutes. Edit: In android probably by scanning for SU app, hide my root just hides the app/binary. Does it use Afaria or something. Same in my office. They want every permission of the phone.

The Wolfy among us
If you want only mail plus calendar access, you can hack the mail app to bypass exchange policies. After the hack, there wont be a need to put a password/pin, or encrypt the phone. Try it once and see if you still can't use a rooted phone. Check this. http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1117452 Also, Afaria etc aren't required for accessing exchange email. It's required only for accessing the phone remotely for full wipe etc. I have both the SuperSU and the SuperUser apps in full view. It works fine.
