My f**king phone just getting hanged every 2 minutes.

Sometimes right after booting, sometimes while unlocking it.

Othertime while typing, the touch just starts sucking it's own d!ck instead of my fingers.

F**k you samsung.

I completly unrooted and installed stock everything (with OTA), still I keep on getting problems like:

Atleast I'm in warrenty, but they'll surely take weeks to fix it (if they could).

Just played around with a HTC butterfly pretty neat phone, this one was without bill and asking price was 49k so perhaps by next week once he gets official stock from HTC India expect it to be around 42-43 considering msrp is 46.

Sony release the damn Z fast or else this is pretty tempting for now,

Relax mate. No need to think the worse. My phone was restarting after upgrading to ICS. They fixed it in a total of 3 hours. The service center I went to(Lajpat nagar, delhi), they had the latest build and they just flashed it to the phone. Back up your data though that will be lost. Hardware issues take time to fix, for software they just flash a stable build.

I was on custom Rom.

It was fine for about an week or so, then I started getting the issue.

So I unrooted and went back to Stock JB.

The problem was still there.

megawiped and went back to ICS.

The problem is still there.

I really think it's a hardware issue and not software issue cause I've flashed all the stabe builds and half the time my phone gets stuck in the selection screen itself.

:(

Thanks for the reply though.

I'll try out the Kormangala service center.

The biggest problem is Micro sim, have ordered an adapter today..it'll take days to come..till then I'll have to bear this Restarting monster.

Just one last time can you wipe everything.. .I mean, connect it to the pc, delete all the folders you see, then go into recovery factory reset? then install CM 10.1 and check?

You could also flash Siyah and check.

I've already done Megawipe 4 or 5 times:

  1. Megawipe: Use this zip to completely

format your phone. It will delete everything in your phone and will

bring it to bare bones. After it install any ROM for a fresh experience

without any conflicts with in the frame work.It deletes the Data, Cache, System and Preload partitions of your internal memory. So Beware!

It basically does the same thing.

And the problem started automatically, I hadn't flashed anything in the prior week.

If it was a software issue, it should've been sorted out in new flash rom.

Try a full new system, wipe everything and start flashing the following

1. Modem

2. ROM

3. Supported Kernel

Make sure all of them are compatible and you did a full wipe, no data, no system, no cache, no battery stats. Also use TWRP, its better than CWM.

EDIT: Don't use that megawipe BS, go in TWRP menu and do it yourself

And do 2 reboots, if it still doesn't work then you are out of luck.

What's TWRP?

Touchwiz Recovery?

I've done that that already.

Currently I am in ICS build ..with official kernal recovery and everything.

I had flashed the stock ICS after a full wipe in Stock recovery (JB stock), and the problem persists.

Yes you need to be rooted, and there is no such thing as unrooted, your flash counter has already changed and officially your phone is out of warranty now.
