Got my dead 16 gb S3 back from Service center.

They've replaced the Motherboard (checked with eMMC app) and because

it's 32gb card now

Congrats bro. Btw did they charge anything from you. Although it is in warranty but ssc in India make some wrong claims and make you pay. What was your case?

Guys, suggest a good phone for 15-20k ? Mom wants.

Following --

  • LG Optimus L9
  • SONY XPERIA go (will get a bump to Jelly-Bean)
  • Nokia Lumia 620 (if you can wait)

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

Thank's guys. Thinking of stretching the budget a bit and getting the Galaxy Grand Duos. downside is the low res. Xperia P and L9 looks good too.

5 inch screen. For Mum? Not a good idea.

Might be uncomy.

I would actually recommend a Windows Phone at that range as it'll crash less and will always be lag free.

Will this be her first touch interface based experience? If yes, suggest you stick to Windows Phone based offerings.

If no, then consider Android actively.

Also I will not recommend sets like the SAMSUNG Grand. I have an aversion to phablets, they are very uncomfortable to handle (to me).

Ok alpha I am gonna bring up the topic of bold/italicising some words that you do...

In the above sentence at first glance it feels like you're emphasising Samsung and then saying you won't recommend it. It feels like you're saying that Samsung as a whole should not be recommended...

Does anyone else see my point or I'm the only Paranoid android?
