dylanjosh
Somehow I still rate Swype over swiftkey flow. Although it is in beta phase, but the accuracy in Swype is way better than flow. I have used flow ever since its first beta came, updated each version but still came back to Swype. Flow doesn't have dictionary, it fails to remember previous entered words, at least most of them. Different strokes for different folks Swype accuracy for me is ridiculously low. Like, 30% I'd say. SwiftKey Flow is like a godsend. The only thing I dislike about Flow is how confident is tries to be about the word its trying to guess. It gives you only one option. Swype gives you like, 3-4. Too bad I can't pay for Flow Google Play still not accepting my cc.
spindoctor
Ah, yes! That's actually the main reason for the scores on stock. And this really is proof of how useless benchmarks are for real life use. Even when compared with more powerful hardware like the Note 2 and S3, the N4 actually feels faster and more responsive because of the stock OS. Haven't had a chance to compare it against an iphone 5 yet though. Swype is seriously dead They were the one coming with the innovative stuff, yet they never though it was worth being in playstore or come out of beta in 4-5 years. The only thing it has going against Swiftkey is the price, apart from that Flow is awesome. Swiftkey is well worth the asking price as it is, but it also goes on sale all the time. It was 1$ just a few weeks ago, and it has been down to 10 cents as well in that crazy sale Google ran last year I think. Does Swiftket has "hinglish" as language/dictonary option to download like Swype ? It does, surprisingly.
TRMNTR
^^ Nexus 4 has the superior hardware. :|
Parvinder Singh
SwiftKey Flow does look and perform better than beta version. Some features are better than swype. It would have been awesome if it offered more words as corrections. It just selects and adds space. You have to come back to correct. egg man
Btw, I've tried like 20 times, Swiftkey FLow can not type "three" at all. It always turn them to "the".
dylanjosh
Yeah. Maybe they expect you to just type the number 3. It's got it's problems.
spindoctor
Btw, I've tried like 20 times, Swiftkey FLow can not type "three" at all. It always turn them to "the". Just tried. Can't manage it either. What were you Flow beta testers doing all these weeks?
Somebody
It might be easier/less overwhelming to program regular apps using NDK (You can choose how much you segregate between Java and C) or should be considered as another option as well. That's what I thought too, but didn't wanna rule it out until I saw it Btw, just as an example, if I buy a HTC One, will I be able to load stock android on it? I don't think I wanna deal with the New Sense (couldn't they just call it sense 5.0? New Sense sounds exact like nuisance )

spindoctor
Now try three on swype It's very easy on Swype. Just need to scribble over the e for a second and it comes up.
Solitaire
Just tried. Can't manage it either. What were you Flow beta testers doing all these weeks? Same with FOUR too.... I keep trying again and again and it can only manage "for".
Shantz
Typing thru flow currently, accuracy still missing. Try typing settings with flow. For me it kept giving output as songs. Lol.its typing settings for me. Anyways, I also feel that flow is slightly less accurate compared to swype. Another gripe is that it has only 3 suggestions to correct while swype allows to slide the suggestions bar sideways to see more suggestions as well. But one thing I'm liking with flow is the hinglish language part. Very useful for sms Edit: no three and four for me too however hard I try. It keeps typing the and for :| Edited February 21, 2013 by Shantz

But no one know how hard it would be depending on what HTC did with the bootloader and whether it will be allowed to be unlocked officially.
