IIRC, both of you guys have given your phones to the service center. You both are from the same city, meet up for drinks and share your feelings of being without expensive gadgets  .

^Athek, what happened? Who hit your buffalo with a stick?

Getting back on topic, I connect my phone (GNote N7000) to PC, it used MTP and shows up as a device. Now, in a lot of cases, on PC it shows some of the folders as empty wherein they are not. Some of the occurences are such that if a file was copied to phone from a different PC, it doesn't show up on another PC. But on phone, all content is visible.

This has been bugging me a lot. Not to mention the random times when some files refuse to get copied using MTP, but if you retry a couple of times or just rename them, or reconnect the phone, copying goes fine.

What do you want out of the phones?

If you want to live with fewer applications for now and are not bothered much the NOKIA Lumia 620 is the best bet. Also better build quality as well as an unique OS flavour.

If you are fine within the Android fold I suggest you the following handsets --

  • SAMSUNG Galaxy S Advance
  • LG Optimus L9
  • SONY XPERIA U / Sola (J is not worth its price)

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

thanks alpha :)

if i wanna go with droid which one shud i go with sony or lg ?

I would rank SAMSUNG (Galaxy S Advance) on top followed by SONY(U / Sola) and finally the LG (Optimus L9).

Please note that the SONY phones will not get an official update to Jelly Bean whilst the SAMSUNG (has received) and LG phones might get that push.

ohhh Tap-water, but, after or before? :naughty:

Nothing before and nothing after, pig head.
