Your apps are linked to your google account. If you use another one, you won't be able to re-download apps purchased on the first one without paying for them again. One suggestion would be use your second email as your primary account. Add the old email account later but set it to not sync email/calendar/etc. Open Play Store and select the second account from the menu when you want to download apps.
