Cause i'm seriously looking to buy sgs...and i don't want to root it.. so... i know the above home screen is from HTC i suppose and not SGS but in general i'm asking... Obviously no CEO is going to say "Hey, my phones will now be less stellar than their current versions, so feel free to pass on them and buy something else" Edit: BTW, another thing is that the discussion ongoing was for "Super AMOLED" while Peter Chou is talking about just AMOLED. The big thing going for Super AMOLED is that the touch screen layer is integrated into the screen itself instead of being a separate one. And the SGS has automatic upgrades for new firmwares i suppose... And bangaloreans is the SGS available anywhere in the city cause i checked out univercell and other stores. The don't have it but they saying they can get it for 28k... And recently one of my friend from mumbai got SGS for 24.5k.... ..When i asked him he said it got it from some wholesale dealer....
