Sackboy
Please don't refer to TouchWiz as a launcher , Touchwiz is not a launcher , and I can put the TouchWiz launcher on CM or Sense too . Its a ROM, a different iteration of android itself , not at all comparable to a ROM. And to people saying PCs have 8 cores now , please elaborate on which ? If you say i7 I will face palm myself to death . And don't say the AMD FX series as their performance is worse than most quad cores.

ALPHA17
And to people saying PCs have 8 cores now , please elaborate on which ? If you say i7 I will face palm myself to death . And don't say the AMD FX series as their performance is worse than most quad cores. No Intel processor (enthusiast / daily-use) has got a eight cores, they are maximum hexa-core (Sandy Bridge-E) or quad-core (Sandy / Ivy Bridge), using proprietary Hyper-Threading technology (on Core i7's and i3's) the number of cores represented to the OS is doubled but the physical cores are half the number. The AMD Bulldozer / Piledriver architecture on the other hand does have eight-cores, these are paired into modules which share certain pipeline based resources. This design is accompanied by two integer clusters, each with 4 pipelines (the fetch/decode stage is shared). Bulldozer will also introduce shared L2 cache in the new architecture. AMD's marketing service calls this design a "Module". A 16-threads processor design would feature eight of these "modules", but the operating system will recognize each "module" as two logical cores. Both architectures have their benefits and I will not write off the AMD processors, conceded their performance is weaker in gaming and daily tasks but in massively parallelised tasks that saturate all their cores they are better performers. Server and enterprise level processors have long had octa-core pieces in operation from both companies.

Whether it actually benefits or not was not part of discussion at all. Someone said even PCs and high end laptops dont have 8 cores, and I mentioned they do have. Stop f**king jumping into conversations out of the blue trying to be all smartass about performance and other BS.

Tameez se baat karni hai to karo , all forum etiquettes have gone to sh*t , I see members like you ,Udham, AnK and countless others going after other members like its their job. Getting offensive on trivial things and eliminating all possibilities of a good argument. Secondly , this is a forum I will jump in whatever conversation I want. Thirdly I read this comment What were you trying to say here then? I merely said that even mid range PCs are octa cores, whereas you didn't think so that way? No mid range PC I know uses octa core , the AMD FX series I have never seen used on a mid range PC , never . Its performance is not at all suited for the use in discussion right now.
